This workshop equipped participants with practical tools and strategies to address the growing need for both accessible and inclusive housing. Attendees will explore universal design principles, accessibility standards, and retrofit strategies for aging populations and individuals with disabilities while also examining inclusive design practices that address cultural, linguistic, and social barriers to housing access. Participants will connect with local resources, gain insight from individuals with lived experience, and leave better prepared to support housing solutions that are both physically accessible and socially inclusive.
